CEO Facelift

CEO FaceliftWhen you think of a chief executive officer’s responsibilities as a communicator, decision maker, manager, and leader, you realize that a CEO can be, quite literally, the face of a company. Wouldn’t any potential stakeholder want that face to be an impeccable representation of the company?

As men are becoming more open to plastic surgery than they were in the past, Dr. Azizzadeh has developed a procedure just for men called the CEO Facelift. This procedure allows men to achieve their desired results: a more youthful, virile and natural appearance without the stigmata of traditional facelifts.

The CEO Facelift uses methods that specifically address men’s needs and desires. While facelifts for men and women share technical similarities, the desired effects and aging processes of both sexes are very different, thus they require different techniques. When performing The CEO Facelift, Dr. Azizzadeh typically utilizes endoscopic techniques and incisions behind the ear to avoid the sideburn area and to camouflage scars.

Additionally, unlike women, men seeking a rejuvenated appearance normally don’t mind having some wrinkles, as wrinkles tend to distinguish them as having life experience. They do, however, want to remove bags under their eyes and loose skin in the neck and jowl region. For some men, this can be done by a face and/or neck lift. For others, multi-level fat grafting, eyelift (blepharoplasty), or fillers such as Restylane, Juvederm, and Sculptra, are necessary to eliminate drooping or sagging above and below the eye. Furthermore, Dr. Azizzadeh rarely recommends neurotoxins so CEO’s won’t lose the ability to make certain facial expressions that are often needed in the boardroom.

The CEO Facelift was developed as a response to the growing interest in facelifts for males with obviously different facial structures and features than females. While males only comprise approximately 9% of cosmetic surgery patients nationally, 25% of Dr. Azzizadeh’s patients are male.

The CEO Facelift is typically performed as an outpatient procedure, and recovery time can often be as short as 1-2 weeks. But, like any surgical procedure, there are risks and Dr. Azizzadeh cautions patients to choose a practitioner with an extensive amount of experience performing male cosmetic surgery procedures and great insight into the differences between male and female aesthetics.
